How is the Community Trust Score calculated?
The Fusion Score combines 4 data pillars — 2 internal and 2 external — for the most accurate trust rating:
  • PropFirmJury Platform Rating (25%) — Our own verified rating system
  • Cross-Platform Intelligence (35%) — Ratings aggregated from 25+ external sources including Trustpilot, BBB, Google Reviews, Sitejabber, Forex Factory, BabyPips, FX Prop Reviews, Funded Account PRO, and many more

The Trust Score (0–10) is our proprietary weighted average of ratings from multiple data pillars. It's calculated live on every page load — no stale data, no delays.

  • 7.0–8.9 — Highly Trusted
  • 5.0–6.9 — Moderate
  • Below 5.0 — Warrants Caution

Trust Score — How It's Calculated
What is the Fusion Score?
The Fusion Score (0–10) — displayed as Trust Score on every firm page — is PropFirmJury's proprietary trust rating that combines data from 32+ sources across 4 weighted pillars into a single, reliable score. Instead of relying on just one platform's rating (like Trustpilot alone), we aggregate internal reviews + 32+ external sources and apply weighted averaging.

Score ranges: 9.0+ Hall of Fame | 7.0–8.9 Highly Trusted | 5.0–6.9 Moderate | Below 5.0 Warrants Caution
Was this helpful?
What is the exact Fusion Score formula?
The Fusion Score uses a weighted average of all available rating sources:

Step 1: Collect ratings from all sources (PropFirmJury community, Trustpilot, Reddit, PropFirmMatch, etc.)
Step 2: Normalize each rating to a 0–10 scale (e.g., a 4.2/5 becomes 8.4/10)
Step 3: Multiply each normalized score by its source weight
Step 4: Divide by total weight to get the final score

Formula:
Fusion Score = Σ(normalized_score × weight) ÷ Σ(all weights) Source weights: Each source's weight is dynamically configured by admin. The only fixed rule is: PropFirmJury's own community rating always gets at least 25% weight. All other sources (Trustpilot, Reddit, BBB, Forex Factory, etc.) get their configured weight, defaulting to 10% if not explicitly set.

The 4 Data Pillars:
  • Platform Rating (25%) — PropFirmJury's own verified rating system
  • Cross-Platform Intelligence (35%) — Ratings from 25+ external sources (Trustpilot, BBB, Google Reviews, Sitejabber, Forex Factory, BabyPips, FX Prop Reviews, and more)
  • Social Signals (20%) — Discord, Telegram, Twitter/X, Reddit, Google Trends, LinkedIn
  • Community Reviews (20%) — Verified trader reviews submitted on PropFirmJury
Example: If PropFirmJury=4.0/5 (25%), Trustpilot=4.5/5 (15%), Reddit=3.8/5 (8%), plus more sources:
= (8.0 × 0.25 + 9.0 × 0.15 + 7.6 × 0.08 + ...) ÷ (total weight) = final score/10

What is the difference between Trust Score, Fusion Score, Health Score and Scam Radar?
These are 3 scoring systems (Trust Score and Fusion Score are the same thing), each with a different purpose:
  • Trust Score / Fusion Score (0–10) — The BASE trust metric. Calculated live from weighted ratings across 32+ sources. This score is not affected by Health Score or Scam Radar — it's purely based on ratings.
  • Health Score (0–100) — Measures operational stability (SSL, domain age, server uptime, legal entity, etc.). Tracked by our AI Engine. Better ratings and reviews contribute positively to the firm's overall health assessment.
  • Scam Radar (0–100) — A comprehensive risk assessment that COMBINES Health Score, Trust Score, Own Rating, Platform Signals, and more. Produces Safe, Caution, Warning, Danger, or Analyzing statuses.
Important: Health Score and Scam Radar do NOT affect the Trust Score. But ratings and reviews DO affect Health and Scam Radar — better reviews → improved health → clearer Scam Radar status.

In short: Trust Score = "Is this firm well-rated?" (base metric) | Health Score = "Is this firm stable?" | Scam Radar = "Is this firm safe?" (combines all metrics)

Health Score & Scam Radar
What is the Health Score?
The Health Score (0–100) measures a prop firm's overall operational health and stability. It's calculated from multiple health factors tracked by our AI engine.

Data sources (in priority order):
  1. AI Engine (meta_scores table) — If the AI has calculated a health score, it's used directly
  2. Health Factors Table — Average of all non-zero health factor scores
  3. No data — Returns 0 (shows "Awaiting Analysis")
A Health Score of 81+ is Excellent, 61–80 is Good, 41–60 is Moderate, 21–40 is Poor, below 21 is Critical.
Was this helpful?
What is the Scam Radar and how does it work?
The Scam Radar is our proprietary 100-point risk assessment system. Every firm gets one of five statuses:
  • 🛡️ Safe (75+ points) — Firm passes all major trust checks
  • 🟡 Caution (50–74 points) — Generally good, minor concerns
  • ⚠️ Warning (25–49 points) — Some concerns detected, monitoring recommended
  • 🔴 Danger (0–24 points) — High risk, multiple red flags
  • 🔵 Analyzing — Not enough data yet (fewer than 4 data sources active)
Was this helpful?
What is the exact Scam Radar scoring formula?
The Scam Radar uses a 100-point dynamic formula with 7 scoring categories:

CategoryMax PointsHow It's Scored
🩺 Health Score25 pts(health_score / 100) × 25
✅ Trust Signals20 ptsVerified=8, Legal entity=4, Sponsored=5, Featured=4, Top Rated=3, Popular=2
⭐ Own Rating10 pts4.5+=10, 4.0+=8, 3.0+=5, 2.0+=2
📊 Fusion Score10 pts(fusion / 10) × 10
📱 Platform Signals15 ptsAvg of Reddit + Trustpilot scores normalized to 15 pts
🌐 Active Sources10 pts20+=10, 10+=7, 5+=5, 1+=2
📅 Domain Age5 pts5yr+=5, 3yr+=4, 2yr+=3, 1yr+=2, <1yr+=1
🔒 SSL/Uptime5 ptsSSL + uptime≥95%=5, SSL only=3, No SSL=0

Thresholds: 75+ = Safe | 50–74 = Caution | 25–49 = Warning | 0–24 = Danger

Override: Admin can manually set Safe/Caution/Warning/Danger status, which always overrides the calculated score.

Analyzing status: If fewer than 4 of 8 data fields are active (PI Rating, Trust Score, External Sources, Health Factors, Reddit, Trustpilot, Twitter/X, Website URL), the firm shows "Analyzing" regardless of score.
Was this helpful?
What signals does the Scam Radar check?
The Scam Radar section on every firm's detail page shows 8 key signals:
  1. PropFirmJury Rating — Is the firm's community rating on PropFirmJury positive?
  2. Meta Score — Is the trust score (Fusion Score) calculated and high enough?
  3. Scam Heatmap — What is the overall risk level based on all combined data?
  4. Scam Alert — Has admin or the system flagged any scam or danger status?
  5. Health Factors — How many of the 6 health factors are actively tracked by AI?
  6. Scam Reported — Are there any scam reports submitted against this firm?
  7. Review Consistency — Is the review distribution natural, mostly negative, or suspiciously positive (e.g., all 5-star)?
  8. SSL/Uptime — Is the website using HTTPS and is server uptime reliable?
If fewer than 4 of these signals have enough data available, the firm shows "🔄 Analyzing" status instead of a definitive Safe/Caution/Warning/Danger label.

The helpful count is shown on each review card. Reviews with more helpful votes appear higher when sorting by "Most Helpful". This helps the community surface the most useful and informative reviews.

Firm owners also have additional moderation options from their Firm Dashboard (flag, helpful, mark reviewed), but the public voting is available to everyone.

How does the AI Review Summary work?
The AI Review Summary at the top of the reviews section is generated using pure mathematical analysis (no external AI API calls). It aggregates all loaded reviews and calculates:
  • Category averages — Average rating for each of the 6 categories, shown as visual bars
  • Top Praise keywords — Most frequently used positive words in review pros
  • Top Complaint keywords — Most frequently used negative words in review cons
  • Overall average — The community's overall rating
It uses word frequency analysis (filtering common stop words) to identify what traders praise and complain about most. The summary updates automatically as more reviews are loaded.
